The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, has inaugurated over 150 classrooms and hostels across 20 local government areas and 57 local council development areas of the state.
Addressing journalists during the inauguration in Ikeja, Sanwo-Olu said that the virtual launch of the projects was necessary to enable children to have access to schools and hostels.
The governor also said 1386-bed hostels were also commissioned.
He said, “The virtual commissioning becomes necessary to enable children to have access to the classrooms and hostels. A total of 150 classrooms will be commissioned and 1386.
“One of the long-term objectives is to raise it to national standards and expand the classrooms for the students.”
