Oyetola urges Osun residents to shun violence

The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Friday urged residents of the state to shun violence and embrace peace.

Oyetola stated this while presenting the staff of office and instrument of appointment to the newly-installed Olu of Awolowo town, Oba Olayemi Omisore.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan, quoted Oyetola as enjoining the residents to continue on the trajectory of peace and development.

According to him, peace has defined, distinguished and dignified Osun and earned it the status of the most peaceful in the country.

The governor then assured that his administration would not relent in sustaining the peace, progress and development in the State.
