The Gunners have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with their 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday to go five points clear from champions Manchester City, with 37 points.
Although Wolves managed to hold the Gunners to a goalless draw in the first half, Arsenal’s captain, Martin Ødegaard, gave his side the breakthrough few minutes into the second half, 55′ and doubled the score line in the 70th minute.
Wolves retain their bottom spot on the table in 20th place with 10 points. They have now lost nine games and won only two this season.
