Oyetola spoke in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Tuesday at the inauguration of a campaign group for the actualisation of Tinubu’s presidential ambition; a project tagged, ‘Nigeria for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.’
Represented by his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Sunday Akere, the governor said Tinubu did well to protect residents of Lagos State during his reign as governor. He also assured them that same would be replicated at the national level.
He said, “He (Tinubu) will tackle the menace of insecurity when he gets there as president.
“When you look at the history of Lagos State, you will know what he did in terms of security when he took over. He made a notable change.”
Speaking earlier, the state coordinator of the group, Mr. George Adedeji, harped on the need for its members to gear efforts towards mobilising support for Tinubu, especially at the grassroots level.
