Adamu gave the charge on Wednesday in Keffi LGA when the National Youth Leader of the APC, Dayo Israel, arrived the state in continuation of his nationwide mobilisation tour for the party.
The APC national chairman who was a two-term governor of Nasarawa State, praised Israel for his dynamic leadership and total dedication to the victory of the party.
He said, “I want to commend you and all the youths in the APC for your efforts towards ensuring victory for our party in 2023. We all want a prosperous and secured nation so we have to keep working towards achieving it.
“So, I am urging you all including the youths in Nasarawa State to continue to canvass support for our candidates so that they can emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.”
Earlier, the APC national youth leader, Israel, told Adamu that while seeking support for the party himself and his team had visited 10 states in the country which include; Bauchi, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Anambra, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Plateau and Enugu.
Israel said, “Mr Chairman, I want to reiterate our commitment to ensuring that the APC claims the lion share of the youths votes which will determine the outcome of the election.
“We are here in Nasarawa State to meet with several youth groups. We are not relenting. We will knock on every door, explore every approach, and do everything we can to propagate the ideals of our party and the vision of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu so that Nigerians can support his emergence as the next president.”
While thanking the national chairman for his support and leadership, Israel urged youths of the party in Nasarawa State to mobilise residents particularly at the grassroots, to ensure a comprehensive victory for the APC in 2023.
