The 30-year-old House of Reps-hopeful made this statement while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
He said, “We see most Nigerian politicians talk about a new and better Nigeria but lack the understanding of the role youths play in achieving that goal.
“As a youth, I feel the pain of my fellows, I know what they are capable of and if elected, it would be my prerogative to be their voice, amplify their desires and create a path for them to be trusted in taking responsibility of administering Nigeria’s affairs,” Akomolafe added.
The young politician also promised not to disappoint young people when elected.
Akomolafe is also a part of the Ekiti contingents in the PDP Presidential Campaign Council commended by constituents of Ikere, Ise-Ọrun and Ekiti South West to have shown tremendous support for the campaign.
He is also an established entrepreneur, once listed in Forbes 30under30 for helping to position his elevator company into one of the top five in the country.
