Death is said to be an inevitable part of life, but it is rarely easy for the loved ones of departed souls to come to terms with the vacuum left behind.
This is particularly so in the case of the late princess, Adedoyin Ayinde (nee Ojora), who was married to Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu
Adedoyin’s death at the young age of 36 leaves a big vacuum, and many of her loved ones are yet to come to terms with it.
The late Adedoyin was a familiar face in high society circles. She was even nicknamed, ‘the flower girl of Lagos high society’. Aside from her beauty and elegance, her fashion sense was topnotch, and she always left many admiring her whenever she attended events.
She was also reputed for throwing classy parties. In 2019, she hosted an exclusive birthday bash to celebrate her husband’s 55th birthday at their posh home in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The event was attended by political heavyweights such as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; and an All Progressives Congress chieftain, Cardinal James Odunmbaku.
In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu noted that the late Adedoyin had a positive impact on the lives of those who were close to her. The statement read in part, “No doubt, the death of a loved one is usually a painful episode in our lives because it is irreparable, but we must always take solace in God for a good life spent by the deceased person.
“We should be consoled by the fact that the late Princess Ayinde lived a fulfilling life and had a positive impact on the lives of people that came in contact with her during her lifetime.”
