The Federal Government has appointed Mrs Christy Uba as overseer of the National Youth Service Corps.
Her appointment followed the sacking of Brigadier General M.K Fadah by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
According to a statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, on Tuesday, the NYSC said Uba took over the leadership of the corps, being the most senior director in the scheme.
“Mrs Uba will serve in the capacity of an Overseer, pending the appointment of a substantive Director General by Mr President,” the statement added.
