Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso is gushing about the class of defender, Dominion Ohaka, who has joined his team ahead of next year’s U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
Water FC star Ohaka caught the eye with the U-23 team during their Olympic qualifiers in October.
He was also outstanding for the home-based Eagles in a friendly against World Cup finalists Costa Rica recently.
Ohaka is one of several new additions to the Flying Eagles as they prepare to take on the rest of Africa in Egypt in February.
“He has the quality and he can play both at right and left back positions, this means I can now pick an attacking player and not another defender on the final squad,” Bosso said after his side’s 7-0 win over Keffi Selected on Saturday.
The win over Keffi Selected is the third big win for Bosso boys this week.
They had earlier defeated Capital City FC, who will in the new season feature in the National League One this season and Paul E Academy 5-0 respectively.
They have now scored 17 goals and are yet to concede a goal.
The other scorers today were Ridwan Seriki, Emmanuel Ekpenyong, Ibrahim Yahaya and Obiakor Ifesinachi.
Ifesinachi has so far scored three goals across the three friendlies.
The Flying Eagles team will resume training Monday morning at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
