FC Vlasim midfielder Zdenek Folprecht has told Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka to quit Czech giants Slavia Prague for Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce.
The Nigeria international, who can play as a winger and striker, has been impressive in the Czech topflight this season, notching 11 goals and four assists from 23 appearances in all competitions in the current campaign.
The Super Eagles striker has registered 44 goals and 23 assists in 170 appearances since he joined Prague in 2018, winning three league and two Cup titles.
Following his brilliant performance, Olayinka has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Prague in the last two seasons, with his likely destination the Turkish Super Lig.
Folprecht has now challenged him to make a big move away from Prague.
Speaking on Football Focus Podcast, Folprecht said if there was a good offer, Slavia see no reason to prevent Olatinka from joining Fenerbahce.
“If I could communicate with him, I would advise him to leave and move on,” Folprecht told Fotospor.
“Fenerbahce has a bigger name in the world than Slavia, they play with players around the world. Leaders in the league, there is a great atmosphere in the stands. Slavia has stadiums that are twice the size of the stadium, probably more money. The prestige of the club is higher than in Slavia.
His contract ends at the end of the season, and there are no positive talks over a new contract. The Nigerian attacker will be free to talk to other clubs in Ja nuary.
Fenerbahce are top of the Turkish Super Lig with 29 points after 13 games and the signing of Olayinka could further boost their chances of winning the league title.
