A singer and writer, BJ Sam, has said that one of the major places where he gets inspiration for songs.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, he said, “I draw inspiration from nature and the things that happen around me, how people treat one another, and mostly from my dreams. I like to sing about things such as love, joy, peace, unity, birthdays, weddings and other thing that appeal to people across the globe.”
The artiste also described himself as a recording artist and writer with a passion to bring joy, melody and brilliance to the universe. He added, “I try to be creative and innovative, exploring new genres of music in each of my compositions, while refusing to be fenced in by genre lines. Many of my fans refer to me as ‘Sammy Wonder’ due to my distinctive beautiful voice and heartfelt lyrics.”
Recounting how his song was featured in a Hollywood film, he said, “Lloyd Kaufman (an American movie director) listened to my song, ‘Mon Amour’, and sent me an email. And, we proceeded from there. I was glad about it, and that incident taught me that if one stands out, it might take time, but one day, the world will notice one. I have done a couple of big projects after that.”
The singer also stated that his latest song titled, ‘Merry Christmas’, is a ‘multicultural melodic song featuring over 20 high profile musicians from all the continents of the world, including Oscar nominee, Paul Raci’.
