Yahaya revealed this on Wednesday at the palace of Mai Tangle in Billiri Local Government Area where the APC Campaign train visited to canvass for votes.
The governor expressed sadness over security issues in Billiri, calling on the people of the local government “to be security conscious and to also be their brother’s keeper, in order to collectively fight insecurity, particularly kidnappers where the state records almost 27 cases of kidnap on monthly basis.”
He also expressed dismay over the recent cattle rustlers’ attack in Amtawalam and some cases of kidnapping for ransom in the area. He, however, advised people in the area to report any suspicious movement to security agencies for a prompt response.
The governor maintained that his administration would leave no stone unturned in ensuring peace and security of lives and property in Billiri and the state in general.
On his re-election bid, the governor assured the people that the APC administration would consolidate the development projects provided in Billiri and other parts of the state.
In her address of welcome, Ɓilliri Local Government Chairperson, Margret Bitrus, appreciated the governor for his development projects in Ɓilliri, especially in the areas of road networks, health, agriculture, employment opportunities, and consideration many Tangale sons and daughters in key political and administrative positions.
Margret however appealed to the governor for more, especially in road networks and the rehabilitation of Billiri General Hospital.
In his address, the Mai Tangle Malam Ɗanladi Sanusi Maiyamba, appreciated the governor for his love for Billiri, assuring him that Billiri is home to him.
Speaking at the rally at Bare, Billiri South, Banganje South, Kalmai, Tanglan and Tal wards, the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Coordinator, Jamil Gwamna, and the Director General of the APC campaign team in the state, Bar. Zubairu Umar, called on Billiri people to collect their permanent voters’ cards and vote for APC candidates at all levels.
During the campaign rallies, the deputy chairman of the state APC Baba Abuja, received thousands of new members who defected to APC from the opposition parties, assuring them of equal treatment.
