Boroffice explained that the motive behind the gesture was to promote science studies among the secondary school pupils and to teach them the concept they can apply to the world around them.
He distributed the items to the beneficiaries in Oka-Akoko, the headquarters of the Akoko South-West Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking at the programme, the Senator said the innovative equipment were designed to impart knowledge and provide detailed facts on various aspects of life and physical sciences.

Adviser on Political Matters, Hon. Aijulu Agbede, the senator explained that the items would enhance pupils’ interest in the urgent need to be scientifically inclined as a means to clinch their educational pursuits in the nick of time.
He said, “These mobile science kits will be the third in the series during my tenure in office, believing it will spur the curiosity of young Nigerians and further stimulate the interest of students to study science, Engineering and Mathematics.
“With this type of empowerment students are expected to explore different branches of science including Chemistry, Biology and Physics”
“Our country, Nigeria, needs the manpower to effectively and efficiently utilize all the natural resources available in all parts of the country without mincing words, Nigeria has the human resources, which, if properly harnessed, can fully exploit and convert the nation’s abundant natural resources into products and services needed both at home and abroad”
“It has become necessary to educate Nigerians in such a way that they embrace the study of science through students’ exposure to international best practices”
In his remarks, the Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Olusegun Agagu, warned the school principals against keeping the equipment inside their personal offices.
Agagu who underscored the importance of education, urged well meaning Nigerians, particularly philanthropists, to extend their charitable gestures to schools so as to assist the government in its strong drive to stamp out illiteracy in the country.
The commissioner who was represented by the Director of Science and Technology of the ministry, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeye, commended Borroffice for his timely intervention, maintaining that the kits would arouse the interest of students to study science related courses in higher institutions.
Responding on behalf of the recipients, one of the leaders of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools in the state, Mr. Bolorunduro Charles, assured that the teachers would painstakingly used the kits to teach students practical in order to shore up their existing knowledge on theories.
