Akande rallies Osun APC elders for Tinubu, others

The ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Adebisi Akande, has called on members of elder caucus of the party in Osun State to work for the victory of the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party in the 2023 polls.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, APC Elders’ Caucus, Sola Akinwumi, in Osun obtained in Osogbo on Wednesday.

Akande, who spoke in his residence in Ila Orangun, Osun State, while playing host to the members of the group, also told them to return to their respective communities and work for the victory of the APC in the next election.

The statement further read in parts, “His Excellency, Chief Bisi Akande advised and enjoined all leaders to go back to their different localities to ensure electoral success of our party in the upcoming general elections slated for February and said party members across borders should not be discouraged while navigating through the present political terrain especially in Osun State.

“He further advised all Nigerians to look inwardly and vote in our APC, presidential candidate Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria come 2023 presidential election.”
