She reportedly died at the St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on Monday January 9, after a short battle with an undisclosed ailment.
Confirming the tragic news, one of her colleagues in the movie industry, Obi Emelonye, shared a short tribute to her on his Instagram page.
“Thank you and good night dada Peace,” he wrote
Until her passing, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe was also the President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP.
Several Nollywood actors, actresses, and film makers have taken to social media to mourn her demise.
May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
In other news, popular Nigerian Comedian and Actor, AY Makun, has advised his colleagues to protect their mental health at all costs and avoid social media validations.
Taking to his Instagram account, the actor reminded them that those who loved them would not stop loving them simply because of hearsay.
According to him, it was wise to spend time connecting with friends and loved ones instead of trying to appeal to an online audience.
He wrote;
