Check Out How Celebs Rocked the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever SA Premier. One thing about our South African celebrities, they never miss on the red carpet. This past Wednesday local personalities and dignitaries dazzled made their way to Johannesburg for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever South African premiere.
Today (Friday) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in local movie theatres. The sequel to Black Panther follows Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duku), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milajie (including Florence Kasumba) as they fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) death.
Our very own Mam’ Connie Chiume is the only South African actress cast in the movie. The veteran actress joined international stars at the world premeier of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever a couple of weeks ago. She made sure she represented Mzansi well in her gorgeous Scalo Designer gold outfit. Mam’ Chiume continued with her gorgeous gowns, and for the South African premier she rocked an IMPRINT design dress.
The theme of the evening was AfroFuturistic, and without a doubt the guests definitely killed it. Just like Mam’ Chiume, they looked all sorts of African royal in eye catching outfits. The likes of K Naomi, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Somizi, Anele Mdoda, Sivenathi Mabuya, Loot Loove, Relebogile Mabotja and so many others slayed the theme.
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will premier in cinemas 11 November 2022.
