He expressed his displeasure in an Instagram video while addressing Nigerians ahead of the February 25 presidential election.
According to him, the electorates don’t need celebrities to choose a candidate for them, as they are old enough to choose for themselves.
He added that the election is not only about the presidency and Nigerians should also focus on the grassroot, specifically the governorship and local government elections.
He also urged people to get involved in politics and join a political party if they want to see real change, noting that it will not happen overnight.
Speaking further, the ‘African Queen’ hitmaker urged people to maintain the same level of energy they displayed during the election campaigns after the election, because the work has only just begun.
He went on to say that Nigerians should hold elected leaders accountable when they are not functioning in office, because building a better nation requires consistent work on all fronts.
