The Anambra State Police Command said it has embarked on a ‘show of force’ in demonstration of its readiness and assurance of protection of lives and properties in general elections.
The State Police Spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the move was aimed at improving personnel deployment and operational positioning of security operatives in the state.
Ikenga stated this in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the security operatives were composed of the police, military and other agencies.

The show of force led by the Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng, had the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Department of State Services, the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, Immigration Service and other sister agencies.
