Alabi, who congratulated Adaramodu, a sitting House of Representatives member, for the victory in the senatorial election, lauded Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, “for providing an enabling environment for a peaceful election” as he congratulated Ekiti people for their orderliness during the presidential and National Assembly polls.
The traditional ruler, in a statement by his media adviser, Chief Ajibade Olubunmi, on Monday titled, ‘Alawe congratulates Adaramodu, others on their victories at the polls,” also hailed the other two elected senators in Ekiti State, Opeyemi Bamidele and Cyril Fasuyi and as well the six Ekiti indigenes who won election into the House of Representatives.
He said Adaramodu’s election was well deserved, describing him as “an astute politician and a quintessential son of Ilawe Ekiti who is always ready to make meaningful contributions to the development of his community”.
Oba Alabi, the immediate past chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers said that the National Assembly members-elect should see their election “as a call to duty and that Ekiti people would be counting on them for active performance and positive contributions to the development of the state and the nation”.
