The vice-presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, Ifeanyi Okowa and Datti Baba-Ahmed, have collectively talked about the elections.
They said that there was no transparency in the just concluded Saturday elections.
The duo disclosed their position at a joint press conference on Tuesday in Abuja.
The PUNCH had reported that during a joint press conference by three opposition parties, the PDP, LP and the African Democratic Congress demanded that the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, should step aside over what they called irregularities that allegedly marred the presidential and National Assembly elections of Saturday.
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, the vice-presidential candidate of the PDP, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State said “the election was a sham, and never free and fair.”
