The Vice-Chancellor, Chrisland University, Prof Babalola Peace, has thanked the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Administration for inducting her as a fellow.
Peace and eight other principal officers of the university were inducted at a ceremony that took place on the school’s campus in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The President/Chairman ofCouncil of CIA, Dr Festus Oshoba, in his keynote address, urged the inductees to remain exemplary leaders by adhering to the institute’s code of ethics while carrying out their duties as professionals.
Thanking the council for the fellowship award, Peace stated that she considered it a major feather added to her cap.
The VC promised that the university would strive to always epitomise integrity, competence and discipline. She also promised to collaborate with the institute in raising credible leaders.
CIA was founded in 1987 and is chartered by Act No. 103 of 1992 (Now Cap C7, LFN 2004). The institute is empowered to regulate the training in and practice of administration within a professional framework throughout Nigeria.
