Luis Enrique, a former Barcelona boss, has reportedly made some demands from Chelsea.
He reportedly asked the Chelsea hierarchy to agree to three conditions for him to become the Blues’ new manager.
Chelsea is keen to appoint a new manager after sacking Graham Potter last Sunday.
Enrique and a number of other top managers have been linked with the Chelsea job.
The former Spain coach flew to London to hold talks with the Chelsea board over replacing Potter.
However, according to Fichajes, Enrique, who has emerged as one of the favourite candidates to become Chelsea’s new head coach, wants the West London club chiefs to give him three new top-tier signings.
He wants a mobile centre-forward, a midfielder who can lead the midfield alongside Enzo Fernandez and a versatile winger, who would enable him try out different systems.
Secondly, Enrique wants Chelsea to give him enough time to instil his footballing philosophy. And lastly, he wants to trim the squad as he does not want a large squad.
