The captain of Al-Nassr football club and Portuguese player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has urged the club to sign FC Porto defender, Pepe.
Pepe, 40, plays as a centre-back and defensive-midfielder for Porto and the Portugal national team.
The duo of Ronaldo and Pepe were former club teammates during their time at Real Madrid.
The PUNCH reports Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer after he left Manchester United by mutual consent in November 2022.
Portuguese football transfer expert, Pedro Almeida, disclosed this via his Twitter handle (@pedrogva6) on Friday.
“Cristiano Ronaldo asked the Al-Nassr board to sign #Pepe, the Portuguese player is at the end of his contract with Porto.
“Porto wants to extend the contract with the player,” he tweeted.
