It is always exciting to see Nigerian music reaching international audiences and making a positive impression. It is even more thrilling when a top European footballer, who recently shared a video of himself vibing to a Nigerian song, requests the presence of the artiste to be part of BBC Sport’s interviews.
The Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, was recently contacted by BBC Sport, who asked him to be part of the interview at the request of Declan Rice, a West Ham midfielder.
Rice shared a video of himself watching the track ‘Declan Rice’ on his Instagram story, and from then on, Odumodu’s career has grown leaps and bounds.
The joint project between Odumodu and the international football star started with Odumodu saying that BBC Sport sent him an email that Rice requested them to invite him to join the interview. The rapper attested to the hand of Jesus being involved in the sudden growth of his music career and thanked him for the privilege.
The rapper wrote;
BBC SPORT HIT ME UP.
WHAT DID I SAY?

BUT THEY TOLD ME IN THE MAIL THAT DECLAN WANTS ME TO BE A PART OF THE PROJECT.
