Controversial Instagram blogger, Gistlover, had alleged that the actress was romantically involved with Njamah’s ex-lover, Josh Wade, before it was discovered that he’s a scammer who enters into relationships with women to defraud them.
To support this claim, Gistlover shared a recording of a video call between George Wade and Ini Edo, along with a snapshot of her passport reportedly found on his phone after he was arrested in Liberia.
Ini Edo’s colleague, Nkechi Blessing, while replying to a fan, also confirmed the reports that Ini Edo had a relationship with Josh.
However, reacting to the rumour during an Instagram live session, Ini Edo denied ever being in a relationship with Josh Wade.
She explained that Josh had contacted her between September and October last year, stating that he wanted her to be part of a film project he was working on. However, he later moved from the movie discussion and asked to be in a romantic relationship with her.
She said that all through their conversations, she had no idea he was in a relationship with Empress Njamah.
She also mentioned that Josh asked for her passport so he could book her flight to South Africa, where she had a business engagement at the time. She sent him the passport details, but they never met.
She revealed that he called her once on a video call, which she ended as soon as she realized it was him and she had no idea that he recorded the call and kept it.
Ini Edo, who reiterated that she never had any romantic relationship with Josh Wade, debunked the rumors as false and revealed that she eventually blocked him when she realized he was getting personal and had no movie project for her, as he claimed when they started talking.
