Recall that on Thursday night, Judy Austin broke her silence on the death of her stepson, who died in March after he developed a seizure while playing football with his classmates at school.
In her first social media post since the incident, Judy paid tribute to late Kambilichukwu, describing him as a great son and stating that God knows best.
“God knows best. Rest in heaven with God, the great son. Kambi Yul-Edochie,” she wrote on Instagram.
However, her post elicited a barrage of reactions from social media users who opined that it was unnecessary since the mother of the late boy has repeatedly stated that she would never accept Judy’s marriage with her husband.
One of those who found the post insensitive was Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu, and he took to his Instagram page to berate her.
According to him, what Judy should have done was reach out to May privately to condole with her rather than make a social media post.
His words,
“Aunty, this is so insensitive. Firstly, MAY has not accepted YUL POLYGAMY, meaning she never supported you. It would have been better to call MAY on the phone to comfort her or mourn YUL Pikin privately. Going out to make a post about her Pikin is INSENSITIVE. If indeed you consider yourself as a part of that family, then calling the Mama of the Pikin should be more important than making a post.”
