The Mavin Signee, who was billed to headline the Industry Night Show in Houston last night, was forced to miss the show because of her ill health.
In a statement released on her Instastory, Ayra Starr apologized to her fans and expressed her disappointment at missing the show.
The ‘Sability’ crooner wrote,
“DC, VA & Houston your girl is going through it. My doctor has advised I slow down, hence I’m on immediate bed rest.
“So sorry I couldn’t meet every one of you as planned. I’m also sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we’ll have a magical time.
“I appreciate your prayers and well wishes #styvesdc #somethinginthewater #industryniteusa.”

A while back, Ayra Starr was mentioned in a test at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.
Her popular song “Rush” was made a mandatory question for second-year students in the Department of Marketing and Management.
A Kenyan student took to his Twitter account, to share a screenshot of the exam paper and expressed disappointment that their lecturer based the questions on a musician’s song despite studying the other parts of the syllabus intensely.
