The Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has revealed that Nigerians evacuated from Sudan will arrive tonight at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
She made this disclosure on her Twitter handle on Wednesday, saying Nigerians evacuated had left Egypt with a Nigerian Airforce aircraft those evacuated and would arrive at the airport by 11:23 pm.
She tweeted, “Finally, homeward bound as the NAF C-130H aircraft has departed Aswan and is expected to touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja by 2340hrs (11.23 pm) tonight. #Sudan. We pray for journey mercies.”
The PUNCH reports that the NIDCOM boss on Saturday disclosed the Mission in Egypt was making arrangements for the payment of visa fees for stranded Nigerians at the border of the country.
