A nearly one-year-long legal dispute between Senator Ademola Adeleke and former Governor Gboyega Oyetola was finally resolved when the supreme court upheld Adeleke’s election as the governor of Osun State.
Delivering judgment on Tuesday, a five-member panel of the apex court held that the court of appeal correctly reinstated Adeleke as governor.
Reacting to the good news, Davido shared the verdict on his Instagram story and congratulated Osun state indigenes and stated that the ruling marks a time of freedom for them.
He wrote;
“It has been a long battle.
Congratulations to the Osun people, it is indeed freedom time. The battle has been on for years but God has been with us. Congratulations to everyone! @aadeleke_01”

Funke, in her response, disclosed that she left Twitter because the platform is toxic and unhealthy due to excessive insults from trolls.
