A female activist, Abiodun Thomas, has accused a member-elect of the House of Representatives from Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency of Ogun State, Tunji Akinosi, of attacking her after his car allegedly hit a hawker in the Onikan area of Lagos State.
In her account of the incident, she stated that she was attempting to assist the hawker who had been hit and went to meet Akinosi, who came out of the vehicle and claimed that the victim was acting in order for him not to fix the broken mirror.
She stated that his statement upset her and that she told him that he is a politician in Ogun State and a Rep-elect, after which he began insulting her and they began exchanging words.
However, when contacted, Akinosi said he did not attack the lady or smash her phone and that it was at that point that the hawker confessed that he was not injured.
