The strategy often is that after shopping for consumables, shoppers’ bills are increased sometimes astronomically at the counter during payment without them knowing.
Most times, these payment counters have scanners, so the salespersons surreptitiously scan and rescan items just so that the cost can increase. And when they issue receipts, they ensure the details are unexplainable.
Most shoppers are often very comfortable in the malls. They relax with the air conditioning systems at full blast believing that the staff in uniform smiling at them will only bill them for what they purchase. That is turning out to be a big goof with the spate of clever fraud by these salespeople. They just follow the simple pattern of just rescanning items. It is amazing how this fraud is almost a pattern.
