The actress and her husband, 2Baba, have been making headlines following the premiere of the second season of the popular reality series, “Young, Famous and African.”
In an excerpt from the reality series that is circulating online, Annie is seen begging Nigerians to respect their privacy and to stop speculating about their relationship, while visibly trying to hold back her tears.
She also noted that she no longer knows who her true friends are, as many people are eagerly waiting for her to share her marital problems on social media.
“Just stop, give my marriage a break because you guys are busy hoping and praying that something is wrong with my marriage. And you just want me to tell you that oh “Innocent messed up”. I don’t even know who my friend is in the group,” she said.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage name 2Baba, has openly acknowledged that his wife Annie’s love for him can be scary at times.
Baba, in a chat with South African media personality Khanyi Mbau, candidly admitted that his wife, Annie, shows him more love than he reciprocates, and her love can sometimes be scary.
Khanyi had asked 2Baba, “Do you know how much she loves you? She will burn herself to keep you warm.”
Replying, the African Queen crooner said,
“I think I do….I think. You know…I feel it. Yeah, I feel it. It’s scary sometimes. She has always shown me how much she loves me. She shows it more than I do…..I recognise where I have done wrong.”
“I recognise where I should step up my game. Sometimes, I still slack but besides all of that, it still depends on you as an adult. The truth is, there are some things that I can’t fix. The ultimate level of happiness does not depend on anybody else but you.” He added.
