The All Nigerians Autobike Commercial Owners & Workers Association has called on the incoming government to play special attention to the country’s economy to stimulate growth.
In a release, the President of ANACOWA, Deji Emmanuel, emphasised the need to move forward and concentrate on advancing the country’s economy and overall development.
He acknowledged that in every election, there would be both winners and losers and advised those who felt aggrieved to follow the proper legal procedures to seek redress through the courts.
The association expressed its support for a national government firmly grounded in the country’s constitution.
Emmanuel said, “In 2003, the highest court in the land ruled that, according to the law, if an elected candidate is being challenged in court, the candidate should be sworn in and remain in office until the court reaches a final decision on the case. Therefore, there should be no void in governance, as the constitution clearly states that the President-elect should be sworn in without delay on May 29, 2023.”
ANACOWA also called the country’s youth to be cautious of manipulation by individuals, particularly corrupt politicians.
