Fenerbahce defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, has continued to attract offers from English clubs, with relegated Leeds United the latest to join the queue for the signature of the Super Eagles man, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Turkish outlet Aspor claims that there are fresh developments about the future of the versatile full-back, who wants to leave Fenerbahce at the end of the season and return to England.
The Nigerian defender has seen his stock rise after his impressive displays for the Super Eagles, with the Yellow Canaries valuing him at €10m.
The 25-year-old was unarguably the standout performer for the Eagles in their back-to-back 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Guinea-Bissau in March.
PUNCH Sports Extra had reported that Fenerbahce were ready to listen to offers for the Nigeria international, whom they signed from Queens Park Rangers in January 2020, for a fee in the region of 0.5m euros.
Relegated Premier League club Leeds are now in the running for the defender, while Bournemouth are in negotiations with Osayi-Samuel’s camp over a possible transfer.
Another Premier League side, Brentford, also tabled €12m for Osayi-Samuel in April.
The defender has some Championship experience, making a combined 109 appearances for Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers in the English second-tier, but has yet to feature in the Premier League.
He has two years left on his Fenerbahce contract and has played in 98 official games for the Istanbul giants, scoring three goals and registering seven assists.
