The 32-year-old singer recently made headlines after a video surfaced of his daughter boasting about his riches, claiming that he is wealthier than the fathers of all her peers.
In the video, she advises the other children not to get too excited when their fathers earn money because it cannot surpass her father’s wealth.
“My dad is richer than any of your dads, so watch out because my dad is richer than your dad. Don’t be too excited. I bet the first time your dad had £100, you were very excited. Don’t be too excited; my dad has more money,” she said.
The video sparked a flurry of reactions from Nigerians on social media, including former Big Brother Naija housemate Tega, who shared her thoughts in the comments section of a blog that posted the video.
As a mother herself, Tega criticized the video, deeming it wrong on all levels and questioning how it found its way onto the internet.
“Wrong on all levels… how did this even get on here?” The mother of one wrote.
