President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, at the State House, Abuja.
Kwankwaso who was the flagbearer of the New Nigerian Peoples Party in last February’s Presidential election, arrived at the Aso Rock Villa minutes around 05:30 pm.
In mid-May, The PUNCH reported that Kwankwaso and Tinubu met for four hours in Paris, France.
Both men discussed Kwankwaso’s potential involvement in the new administration as Tinubu’s “government of national unity” takes shape.
This means offering critical opposition figures a place in his government.
Friday’s meeting may also feature issues around the election of the legislative leaders ahead of the June 13 inauguration of the 10th national assembly
