Beyond being the daughter of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Zahra Buhari-Indimi has other sides that might not obvious to some people.
She is also a wife, mother, philanthropist, and one who loves to influence others positively.
In one of her outreaches, she distributed food items to about 300 beneficiaries.
Posting about it on Instagram, she wrote, “Flashback to when we fed and clothed 300 children at Agiri Internally Displaced Persons camp in Maiduguri (Borno State) during Eid. Thank you again to all who made this possible. (There is) so much more to come. Thank you to all our volunteers who made this outreach possible!”
Zahra also does not shy away from speaking for the less privileged. During a symposium in Abuja, she said, “You cannot talk about orphans and vulnerable children without discussing the benefits of education and healthcare literacy.”
She added that the symposium discussed how people can build a bridge between healthcare literacy in Nigeria.
She is also evidently passionate about her family, and often embraces any opportunity to support them.
Also fond of her husband, Ahmed Indimi, she constantly eulogises him on social media. During their second wedding anniversary, she posted a picture of her and her husband with the caption, “This is to forever Insha Allah. I think this picture says it all for me. Ahmed Indimi, you are cute, you know. Just look at that.”
Also, on the occasion of her fourth wedding anniversary, she wrote on Instagram, “I will do it again if I had to. Happy fourth anniversary, Ahmed Indimi. Life could not have possibly been the same without you. Ya Allah make all spouses the coolness of each other’s eyes. Ameen ya Wadud.”
In December 2021, while celebrating Zahra’s 27th birthday, her husband wrote, “Happy birthday to an amazing soul. Undeniable is my connection with you, unbelievable is how much I love you, and unbreakable is the bond that we have formed with each other. Have a wonderful birthday, my love.”
Recall that the couple got married in 2016.
