This comes after Akpabio’s emergence as the country’s Senate President of the 10th National Assembly today.
Although Akpabio arrived earlier, our correspondent spotted Uzodinma entering the president’s office complex at about 12:30 pm Tuesday.
On Monday, the Imo Governor who chaired a “small technical committee to help coordinate the process of Tuesday’s election” in the Senate and the House of Representatives said his team is hopeful of a landslide victory for the Akpabio.
The voting in the election of a new Senate President had commenced before 09:00 am with Akpabio and former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator-elect Abdul’aziz Yari, going toe to toe.
After a quick recess, Sani Tambuwal, the Clerk of the National Assembly, declared Akpabio as the Senate President having garnered 63 votes leaving his rival with 46 votes.
