In a statement on Wednesday, the SAN said there needs to be an overhaul of the anti-corruption agencies, as they are not “playing in harmony with orchestra” and are “mostly overzealous in their work.”
He told the Nigerian citizens to constantly be on the neck of the lawmakers in order to solve the nation’s lingering problems.
Agbakoba stressed that the lawmakers need to focus more on efficient revenue generation, as there are “low hanging fruits that can raise N100 trillion to sort out our huge problems.”
The SAN added that there should be a critical review of the legal framework of the anti-corruption agencies for effectiveness.
