A conference and exhibition platform, Vertex Next, a subsidiary of Vertex Group, said it has concluded plans to host this year’s edition of ‘Power & Water Nigeria’ and ‘IoT West Africa’ scheduled for next month in Nigeria.
A statement by the firm said that over the past few decades, the African economy has been overcoming numerous obstacles in the power, water, and technological sector, using its infrastructure capabilities best.
The statement further said that the African continent, with a gross domestic product of $1tn in 2022, has been making efforts with the government’s support to facilitate advancements in these sectors.
The statement reads in part, “Numerous businesses have also made contributions with their offerings and innovations, including Power & Water Nigeria and IoT West Africa Exhibition & Conference. As Africa continues to experience rapid economic growth and technological transformation, these events will act as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development.”
According to the statement, Nigeria has been constantly evolving and driving growth in the power and water sector.
The statement added that Nigeria has been addressing the power and water-related issues with the support of growing technology, industries, and the government.
“Recent developments in the field such as hydropower technology, solar energy systems, hydroelectric storage facilities, etc, had improved the situation of the power and water sector. The Nigerian government has launched programs to recover and transform the power and water sector, encouraging a more sustainable environment for all.”
“Building on these programs, Power & Water Nigeria Exhibition & Conference is going to unfold growing technologies for the power utility sector. The event is going to incorporate discussions and seminars with industry leaders, workshops, and networking events, where reputed speakers, businesses, and advisory members of councils will represent their businesses and opportunities for the future of the power and water sector.
