A former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, took to social media to hail his father-in-law, Adekunle Ojora, as he clocked 91 years old on Tuesday, June 13, 2022.
On his Facebook page, Saraki shared a homely picture of him and the father of his wife, Toyin. In the picture, Saraki was seated on a couch right beside his father in-law. They were both beaming with smiles.
Honouring Ojora on behalf of his family, Saraki wrote “Today, Toyin, the children, and I honour our dear father, Olori Ebi, (Dr) Adekunle Ojora, OFR, CON, JP, Otunba of Lagos and Lisa of Ife as he celebrates his 91st birthday. His invaluable pearls of wisdom and consistent guidance have been our compass, helping us navigate through the labyrinth of life.”
“We thank the Almighty for his life and pray that He will continue to bless him with long life, good health, and unending happiness. Happy Birthday, Sir!”
Ojora, a retired business executive, was the chairman of the board of AGIP Nigeria Limited from 1971, until it was acquired by Unipetrol in 2002. Prior to that, he had worked as a journalist with the British Broadcasting Corporation in the early 1950s, before he later became an executive of the United Africa Company.
