Heading into this game off the back of a spectacular 39-point showing last time out, all eyes are on Jewell Loyd. While the scoring hit the headlines, it’s Loyd’s assists line which really jumps out.
Loyd has had over 3.5 assists in three of her last four, and has consistently played in the mid-thirties in minutes. Look for the former first-overall pick to rack up the dimes on Tuesday night.
We also like veteran wing DeWanna Bonner to have over 17.5 points. Bonner has scored exactly 20 in each of her last two and isn’t far removed from scoring 41 against the Aces.

It has been a dream start to the season for the Connecticut Sun. In contrast, the Seattle Storm have only three wins on the board and have gone just 1-5 at home after consecutive losses to the Washington Mystics earlier this month.
The Sun won all three meetings between these two teams last season. Both are fortunate to have no injuries to worry about.
Connecticut has picked up where it left off last season after coming out of the Eastern Conference, but the Storm look like a work in progress at the moment.

DeWanna Bonner is projected as the Sun’s top scorer on Tuesday night with a points line of 17.5. Bonner averages 17.8 points per game, but the Sun have two other reliable scorers in Brionna Jones (16.2 points per game) and Alyssa Thomas (15 points per game).
Just two Storm players average in double digits. One of those is Jewell Loyd, who is averaging 25.4 points per game this season, which leads the league. Loyd has top scored for Seattle in all but three games this season and is expected to do so again in this game.
Sun To Add Yet Another Win
The Connecticut Sun are set up to extend their Playoff streak. After going 26-6 two years ago and 25-11 last season, the Sun have been a dominant defensive team, while having a diverse and varied offence.
For Seattle, the offence has been overly dependent on Loyd, who has been spectacular. They are dead last in offensive rating, and the defence hasn’t been much better.
Despite some decent wins for the Storm of late, the Sun are obviously the better team and will fancy their chances.
