An educational body in the United Kingdom, NCC Education UK, has added PEFTI Film Institute to their network of ‘accredited partners’, to enable students in Nigeria and all over Africa, study special modules to get Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from universities in Canada, United States of America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The body, which has offices in the UK, China, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa, stated that the new partnership with PEFTI meant that African students could study for as briefly as one year at PEFTI, either online or at the school’s campuses in Lagos and Ibadan. After that, they could then gain admission into foreign universities to study a wide range of courses, such as nursing, business, law, fashion and art-related courses, film production, social sciences, computer and information technology-related programmes, and engineering.
Reacting to the new development, the Managing Director of PEFTI, Abiola Adenuga, said, “We are delighted with this new international partnership, as it opens doors for people who are interested in studying abroad and/or relocating legally to another country. PEFTI is accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education (in Nigeria), and we are partners with several universities, corporate bodies, and embassies. This is not a new terrain for us, and we look forward to success.”
She added that academic sessions for the programmes would commence in September 2023.
