The Commander of the Group, Alhaji Ubale Barau Badawa, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on the level of preparation ahead of this year’s festivities.
Represented by the Group’s spokesperson in Kano, Usman Muhammad Dandaji, the Commander disclosed that the group will partner with the police, NSCDC and other security agencies, towards ensuring rancour-free and successful Sallah festivities in Kano.
Also, he called on the general public to be vigilant and report to security agencies any suspicious movements of strange individuals or groups of persons.
Badawa restated the group’s commitment to supporting security agencies at all Eid grounds across the 44 local government areas of Kano State.
He, therefore, urged parents to constantly monitor their wards to prevent them from indulging in immoral activities in society.
He felicitated the entire Muslim faithful in Kano and Nigeria, for witnessing this year’s Eid el Kabir.
While describing the period as sacred, Badawa called on the people to avoid deviating from the righteous path.
