The bodies of three students who went missing when the boat they were in capsized in Calabar on Saturday have been recovered.
The bodies recovered are those of two male and female students.
The state Commissioner of Police, Gyogon Grimah disclosed this on Monday in Calabar.
He said since the boat accident occurred, “the police have been working day and night to rescue the missing students.”
Grimah also commended the locals for their efforts to recover the students’ bodies.
Some medical students were in Calabar for medical students’ games and went on a boat cruise at Marina Resort on Saturday during which the boat capsized.
Eleven of the students were rescued while the bodies of the three missing students were recovered on Monday.
