A subsidiary of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc, Hallmark Health Services Limited, has said it will provide a platform for stakeholders to brainstorm on technology and financing opportunities in the health insurance sector.
The company said this in a statement on its 2023 annual stakeholders’ engagement in Lagos.
The event which is the second in the series, had the theme, ‘Exploring technology and financing opportunities in the healthcare value chain’.
It said notable players in the healthcare sector expected at the event included the guests of honour, the Executive Secretary of the NHIA, Prof. Mohammed Sambo; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Africa Group, Toyin Sani.
Other notable speakers included Fola Laoye, Ayo Adegboye, Kemi Olawoye and Uzor Ofulue, among several other expected guests.
The Managing Director of Hallmark HMO, Mrs Adeogun Oladotun, said the event was being organised annually to generate ideas from various stakeholders towards proffering solutions to various challenges within the healthcare space.
She added that several technology and financing opportunities existed and were available for practitioners to leverage on for the overall benefit of the sector.
The company, she said, had taken up the responsibility of organising the event in view of the growing need to ensure effective healthcare delivery, networking and collaboration by the various stakeholders, and looked forward to another successful event like it witnessed during the maiden edition in 2022.
“Hallmark HMO has a bouquet of affordable plans tailored to meet the healthcare needs of corporate organisations and individuals with plans at an advanced stage to introduce an International Healthcare Package to cover the needs of clients while outside the shores of Nigeria,” the firm said.
