Lynx To Keep It Competitive Amid Good Run
In their last nine games, Minnesota have lost just twice. While they have been heavily beaten by the Aces twice this season, their performances have generally been trending in the right direction.
Just four of the Lynx’s losses this season (prior to their weekend games) have been by double digits. That affects our Lynx vs Aces predictions.
Two of those heavy losses came to the Aces, but Las Vegas has also had a few closer games of late, with smaller margins of victory over the Fever on June 26th and the Wings in midweek.

Napheesa Collier’s rebounding line has nudged between 7.5 and 8.5 of late. We are pretty confident taking the over on either 7.5 or 8.5 here given the pace the Aces play at.
Collier averages 7.8 boards per game for the season and has hit the over on this line in four consecutive games. She also has 17 boards across two games against the Aces in 2023 which is the next of our Lynx vs Aces tips.
There should be a few extra possessions in this game with how the Aces like to push the ball up the floor. They conceded the second-most rebounds per game in the league, which gives Collier an ideal opportunity to collect eight or more rebounds yet again.

Aces To Dominate Early On
The Las Vegas Aces have an impressive +20.5 net rating in the first half of games this season. Las Vegas is often building an unassailable lead before half-time, with opponents occasionally closing the gap in the third and fourth quarters.
Only four teams have a worse first half net rating than the Lynx, who have proven to be a considerably better team in the third and fourth quarters than the first two. Minnesota has been poor at both ends of the floor in the first halves of games this season.
We think it’s worth backing the Aces to win the first half in this one, even if they are the favourite and at a relatively short price in the Lynx vs Aces odds.
