Dafinone made the assertions on Sunday during a post-election thanksgiving service held in his honour at Praise Baptist Church, Sapele in the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The occasion was graced by traditional rulers, community chiefs, past and present national assembly members as well as past commissioners, among other dignitaries.
While expressing his profound gratitude to Omo-Agege and all members of the All Progressives Congress for his electoral victory, Dafinone specifically commended the party leadership at the national and state levels for ensuring due process at the general elections across the country.
He said, “The last general elections was a tough one full of intrigues and it covered about nine months without rest. All our members worked tirelessly to ensure that APC emerged victorious.
Today, we are here to thank God for giving us victory at all levels and to celebrate ourselves. We are going to continue to build on the good template of the legacy set by our national and state leaders, as well as ensure that we bring dividends of democracy to our people.
“I will run open-door government. Our doors will be open to all and sundry. We will give attention to the yearnings of our constituents”.
Dafinone had earlier urged the APC faithful to keep hope alive saying that in no distant time, the party’s governorship candidate in the 2023 general election will be declared the winner of the polls at the tribunal.
