The gesture comes after JAMB announced Miss Umeh from Anambra State as the highest scorer in the examination, with a total score of 360.
According to a statement released by Soludo’s chief press secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, the governor commended her for making the state proud with her exceptional academic performance.
He also offered her a scholarship to study any course of her choice at the state’s Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
The statement read;
“In further celebration of Miss Umeh’s feat, Governor Soludo has announced a well-deserved scholarship for her to study any course of her choice at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State.
“The scholarship will not only serve as a token of the state government’s appreciation for her hard work but also provide her with the opportunity to pursue her dreams and contribute to the development of the state in the future.”
A while back, Miss Umeh revealed the study techniques she adopted to attain a remarkable score of 360/400.
During a recent interview on Arise TV, the student of Deeper Life High School, Mowe, Ogun State, disclosed that the school put measures in place to aid her study.
Kamsi explained that she started her JAMB preparation months before the exam, attended numerous preparatory classes, did various tests, answered tons of past questions, and even underwent time management training in school.
She added that she studied during prep in the mornings, afternoons and nights for a cumulative time of 6 hours daily. Continue reading here
