Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, escaped death on Wednesday, when a section of the state high court complex collapsed on him while in the office.
Adeyeye was still in his chamber while the unfortunate incident occurred.
The chief judge sustained some injuries but reports have it that he’s currently receiving adequate medical care at an undisclosed hospital.
The wall collapse is likely connected to the structural deficit caused by the recent heavy rainfalls.
Efforts to reach the court registrar to give more details on the matter proved abortive.
